LIFE AS AN INTROVERT

HOW DO PEOPLE REACT WHEN THEY REALISE YOU ARE AN INTROVERT?

Usually with confusion, they become annoyed since you're not the loud person they expected to be, some people are super sweet, and then there are those who come with a bad attitude in a way that they think they can either change you or push your buttons. But none of this is your business. You are on your own path in life and no matter who or what is thrown at you, you will continue on your own path, whether they like it or not. I find writing is much easier than talking, it is calming.

Most introverts do not have a conventional life, nor do we want one. We are neither an alpha or beta person and that's the way we like it. We are the leaders of our own life and if others want to be a part of it, that is a bonus.

HOW IS LIFE AS AN INTROVERT DIFFERENT TO AN EXTROVERT?

Well, the biggest difference from what I know is that extroverts get their energy from being around other people. Whereas introverts prefer to rejuvenate in

solitude. And I can resonate with that.

I can accomplish so much more on my own, without distractions. It gives me time to think, be creative, make things and do so much more on my own.

But I also understand those who cannot stand being on their own, it is how they are built, and we are not all built the same. But for me, I cannot be around people 24/7.

WHAT ABOUT AMBIVERTS?

What is an ambivert? An ambivert is an introvert with extroverted tendencies.

Yes, I think this too may resonate with me. And I think this may confuse a lot of people who meet me when I am in ambivert mode. My extroverted side comes out,

but they do not realise that it is just a small outburst before I need to

go back into hermit mode again. The extroverted side comes

out in certain situations and I never know when that is.

Does that resonate with you?

WOULD I CHANGE ANYTHING?

No, I am content with the way I am. Are you? Are you an extrovert, an introvert, or more of an ambivert?

HOW DO PEOPLE SEE INTROVERTS IN A WORLD THAT LOVES EXTROVERTS?

With reservations. They don't always understand us and try to change us or mold us

into something we are not. It is not a deficit to be quiet, it is peaceful.

Not everyone wants to say words they do not mean. Or live in chaos and drama.

Or talk just for the sake of it. That is exhausting.

Creative people express themselves via other avenues such as performance, art, crafts, photography, sewing, singing, dancing, fitness, cooking, writing, drawing, playing,

sports, meditation, education, learning, reading, having animals, nature,

fashion outfits, competitions and loads more.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING AN INTROVERT?

Thinking for yourself. Not being constantly influenced by others' opinions or needs.

People may take this as being aloof or cold, but it just a way of being.

Just as the herd mentality is accepted, so should individuality.

LAST WORDS OF WISDOM:

If you struggle to accept that you are an introvert, all I have to say is that you are a blessing. Accepting the way you are is the first step to self-love.

A VISUAL OF HOW AN INTROVERT FEELS INSIDE:

Peace and calmness are the things we strive for. You can find it in you too.

I hope you enjoyed something other than fashion today. A little bit about my world as an introvert is something I rarely, if ever talk about. See you on the next one...Bye!
