WEDDING VENUE THEMES

THESE ARE THE 5 WEDDING VENUE THEMES YOU COULD CHOOSE FROM:

These are not the only themes you can do, they are just the ones I am going to whiz thru for you to get an idea of where to start if you are looking at what type of style you want to go for if you haven't already chosen one. Some people already know what they want, this blog post will not be for them. Let's get started:

1) Farmhouse Style.

2) Boho Style.

3) Classic Formal Style.

4) Romantic Elegance Style.

5) Eclectic Style.

1)_LET'S START WITH THE FIRST ONE, THE FARMHOUSE STYLE:

Traditionally the farmhouse styled wedding would be held in an English country village,

or more recently at a farm in an Australian country town. This is where the whole rustic look came from where you get hay bales and use them as seating, you use old beaten-up utes, and you use a lot of reclaimed wood for tables, decor and anything else you'd like. Sometimes lanterns and vines are also added for a cosy effect.

They may look like this:

2)_THE BOHO STYLE HAS BEEN MODERNISED:

This look to me is a cross between romantic and rustic home-made style decor.

It became very popular in the 90's, especially in fashion. You use a lot of macrame wall ornaments (always handmade), lots of lace, white as a base, lots of arbours, glass candles and even cane chairs and decor everywhere. And of course, plenty of flowers (sometimes most of them dried like pampas grass).

They may look like this:

3) CLASSIC FORMAL STYLE IS A CLASSIC:

Classic style is classic for a reason, it is something that is not trendy and is timeless.

This is most likely a style your mother, grandmother or even great grandmother had and is something that will never look dated no matter how much time goes by.

Classics usually come with many rules and are quite ridged and for this reason the look remains the same decade after decade. With lots of gold, molding, and velvet.

They may look like this:

4) ROMANTIC ELEGANCE STYLE:

This is one of my favourite styles, as it brings in lots of pale pinks, pale purples with a lot of white as the background. Lots of lace, tulle, silk and plenty of candles and sweet flowers (usually white and pale pastels). You don't need to be a romantic person to love this style, but they usually do go hand in hand. You can have this style in the park, a farmhouse, in a hall or even in a small venue. You will see a rose arbour here.

This may look like this:

5) ECLECTIC STYLE:

This is where you choose all the parts you like from all different styles, hence why it is called eclectic, there is no fast and ready rules at all. You can even have a coloured wedding dress. There is no stopping you from going bold. There is no specific style to this, so you get to choose colours, fabrics, decor, flowers, venue, the look and the complete style. Usually nothing matches, but if done well can look amazing.
