WALK-IN WARDROBE DESIGNS

THE DREAM WARDROBE:

This is possible only if you have the space for it or if you want to convert a spare room in your house into a walk-in wardrobe. For me, I love to have super easy access to my things and even better if I can see my things. This post is going to be all about my favourite designs of walk-ins, that inspire me to organise my clothes.

ORGANISING YOUR WARDROBE:

The best way to do this is to take everything out of each section, one by one. Go thru each piece of clothing and see what you will keep. When you put them back, start putting them back in colour code. Start from white and go thru the colours all the way to black. My biggest tip is to use the same coat hangers for all your clothes. Fold clothes you don't want to hang. And have a laundry basket in your closet. This makes your room much cleaner. You can then take that basket to the washing machine, ready to wash.

This will make your life so much better in the flow of things.

Organising your clothes means you are organising your life as it all goes round in a circle. Clean life means clean brain. The less you need to think about on a daily basis, the less problems you have and the less choices you need to make every day.

LUXURY WALK-IN WARDROBES:

Designing your own wardrobe is very difficult from scratch. To have a very beautiful and practical one is the ultimate dream. To me, storage is the most important thing in a house. And to make it look luxurious is the goal. You don't have to be rich to have beautiful things in your house. Knowing what you like from the beginning eliminates all time and money wasted trying things out. This is why doing your research is always so important before you do anything. If you can make things yourself, it can save you a lot of money. Luxury has more to do with style, than money.

TIP: If you have limited space in your wardrobe, during summer, pack away your winter gear in suit cases or boxes. And bring them back during winter and put your summer wear in storage. This gives you a cleaner space for the two big seasons. And each time you bring them back, it feels like you have a whole new wardrobe. I love doing this twice a year. You also go thru your things and declutter at the same time.
