These are some common mistakes, even I have made, but are easily fixed or the habit can be changed. This is another fun post for anyone who wants to look more put together.

THE MISTAKES:
1) Wearing the wrong bra:
It means that you are either wearing a bra that is too small or too tight and gives you fat bulges, or too large and you swim in it. It also means that when a bra strap is showing under clothing, it is not the same colour as the clothing you wear, eg: you wear a black bra under a sheer white top. This is a bad look, unless it is intentional.
2) Wearing clothes in bad condition:
Looking after your clothes is one of the best steps to looking after yourself. Washing them, replacing them or cleaning the lint off of them.
3) Wearing too much Jewellery all at once, or not wearing any at all:
The two extremes are not good. Finding the balance is important.
4) Wearing shorts that are too small or too tight for you:
Especially for anyone who is not at the beach, or too old for this type.
5) Wearing old fashioned colours and styles:
This is the first indicator of someone who is slack with keeping up to date.
6) Wearing thongs everywhere:
Thongs should only be worn at the beach/pool and nowhere else. Or in the privacy of your own home.
7) Wearing foundation on your face that doesn't suit your skin tone.
8) Wearing Ugg boots in public.
9) Orange fake tan on yourself:
Natural is classy.
10) Wearing dirty shoes or shoes with holes.
11) Not wearing any make-up. Or wearing too much make-up:
A balance is needed here too.
12) Wearing the wrong accessories with an outfit:
Check yourself in the mirror just before leaving the house to make sure you look right or ask a friend for advice.
13) Being too conservative:
Not having FUN with fashion. Fashion should always be fun. Don't be so serious about yourself, be serious about your work.
14) Not trying new things:
Always sticking to the same old things over a really long period of time.
15) Showing too much skin:

16) Wearing jeans too tight for you:
Sometimes we gain a little bit of weight and the jeans we wear is a bit tight and you think you can get away with it. It's really not a good look.
BONUS RULE: Buying fashion pieces only:
Forgetting the basics and not mixing it up.
